Will The Major Lazer Animated Series Return?

Diplo has just teased to a fan on social media that the short-lived Major Lazer animated series may return for a second season.

Major Lazer took their visual game to the next level back in 2015. They developed a whole cartoon world. The world was created around their freedom mascot. The cartoon premiered on FXX that same year.

The cartoon was based off their mascot protecting people, fighting vampires, and smoking weed in a post-apocalyptic Jamaica. Unfortunately, the show only lasted 11 episodes even though it was well received.

But the other day a fan asked Diplo about a season two. And the DJ replied with, “Coming Soon.” He didn’t give any more details, but Major Lazer is expected to return with new music.
