WAVEDASH Releases “Whiplash” Off Forthcoming “Opening Ceremony” EP on Gud Vibrations

WAVEDASH kicks off the new year strong with their latest single “Whiplash,” out on NGHTMRE & SLANDER‘s Gud Vibrations, serving up a heavy dose of their signature bass sound. “Whiplash” is a wild ride from the moment the track opens with foreboding, cinematic chords, as if warning listeners to stay on their toes. WAVEDASH seamlessly switches gears several times during the length of the track with grimy, filthy drops, relentlessly creating a frenzied dancefloor killer in the process. “Whiplash” is the third single from WAVEDASH’s upcoming “Opening Ceremony” EP. The trio has also released “BSTRD” ft. Quest and “Deathwish” on the Gud Vibrations imprint (the latter launched the label). Check out what the guys have to say about their new single below:

“‘Whiplash‘ is a track that underwent more changes than we can even remember. The end product was something we were hoping would appeal to DJ’s and listeners alike, and we’re really excited with how it came out.”

Although the three members of WAVEDASH are in their twenties, this trio has exhibited producing prowess beyond their years. After listening to WAVEDASH‘s genre of heavy bass music, it’s quickly evident why their debut “Bang” was picked up as a release on Skrillex‘s OWSLA and they’ve since made a name for themselves with official remixes (incl. DJ Snake‘s “Ocho Cinco” and Excision‘s “Final Boss“), live performances at EDC Las VegasBeyond Wonderland and Nocturnal Wonderland. 2018 has been a monstrous year for WAVEDASH, who collaborated with heavyweight artists on major labels such as “Grave” with NGHTMRE on Mad Decent, “Move Back” with SLANDER on Insomniac Records, and their “Devil Music” EP on Mat Zo‘s Mad ZooWAVEDASH has been teasing sounds from “Opening Ceremony” for the past few months now, promising a sonic journey full of the heaviest and filthiest bass music out there. Keep an eye out for the EP dropping soon!
