The anonymous DJ/Producer who has helped to push the electronic dance music scene into the mix of popularity with pop music, has released a music video for his recent single, ‘Check This Out’.
The video, which begins as a normal beach day for Marshmello, ends up taking a twist into having a message that the producer seems to want to relay to his followers. While scoping out the entire beach, every person is attached to their cell phones. Not a single person lifted their heads up to enjoy the day. Meanwhile, Marshmello notices a man drowning. The lifeguard being glued to his phone, didn’t even notice. The message was loud and clear. We are all guilty of getting wrapped up in life elsewhere, instead of enjoying the one in front of us.
The DJ/producer is always on the go touring. Aside from his normal residency in a few Vegas clubs such as XS and Intrigue, he will be across the country in Germany and Russia soon. In Berlin, Germany on November 16, he will be playing at Verti Music Hall. Then its off to Russia at the Moscow Media Dome on November 17.
