DJs Almost Arrested After EDC China Performance

This past weekend, after EDC Guangdong, there was an uproar because it had been previously announced that there shall be no profanity on stage.

“No swearing or bad language on the microphone during your performance today, or you risk being detained by the police,” it reads. “You have been warned!”

None of the DJs ended up being arrested over this past weekend. This could have been an issue because cursing and profanity from the DJs typically hype up the crowd and normally this is not a problem.

Some of the headliners for this EDC were Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dreamstate Presents, Ekali, Joyride, Bassrush Experience, Dzeko, Joyride, Major Lazer, Slushii, Vini Vici, Zedd and more.
