Tuesday, the jury favored Jennifer Fraissl. This woman sued Skrillex and his touring company after an incident at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles in 2012 in which Skrillex stage dove into the crowd. Fraissl claims she suffered head injuries and a stroke after the incident.
Skrillex exclaimed “There is nothing more important to me than my fans and their safety at my shows- I want them to have fun and enjoy the music. While I’m disappointed by the jury’s decision, I’m glad the process is over. I look forward to getting back to work and delivering new music to my fans”.
The judge settled on over $4.5 million dollars in damages owed to her. $1.6 million from Skrillex, 1.8 million from his touring company Lost Boys and $450,000 from Belasco Theatre.
