A few months ago a Facebook user created an event called “storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All Of Us.” Since then, social media went crazy and the event became of the biggest memes of 2019. Two million users pressed the “attending” button, causing the news outlet to take notice.
The meme was such a phenomenon that an actual event was created. The event is called Storm Area 51 Basecamp and will be taking place today, September 20th to the 21st on the Extraterrestrial Highway. And the legendary DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold will be performing.
