Unfortunately, more frequently we are seeing the reoccurring death of artists by suicide. In addition to the countless celebrity suicides, each year thousands of adolescents and adults attempt to, or do take their own life. Depression, anxiety, and self hatred has and always will be a touchy topic, but thankfully more and more influencers are getting involved and making public acknowledgement and trying to help as much as possible.
Illenium wrote “This year, in partnership with NV Concepts and Wicked Halloween, I want you to submit a 15-second video explaining what your reason for being awake is… what keeps you going in life, why you stay positive, etc.” And reassured the readers that he knows that life can get hard sometimes but stated how important it is to understand that there are people that are here to help and support by coming together.
