Galantis and Charli XCX just teamed up to write the official theme song for Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan. Of course, the two drew inspiration for the original Super Mario Bros. theme song written by Koji Konodo in 1985. The new theme song is called “We Are Born To Play,” and it’s the perfect song to save the princess, dodge shells and smash question mark boxes too.
Galantis delivers big-room builds and drops, but you can still hear the classic melody weaving through the song. And for Charli, you hear her drop some creative lyrics that will help you power up. She also makes a cameo in the official music video. The video is not an official peek of Super Nintendo World, but the park is set to open this supper; right before the Tokyo Olympics.
