EDM Wins Big at the iHeartRadio 2019 Award Show

This year’s iHeartRadio award show was hosted on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Some of the biggest names in hip hop and pop were nominated in many different categories. But this year’s ceremony helped remind us that EDM is still such a major part of today’s pop culture.

Marshmello and Zedd both beat out some of the biggest names in music. The hit song, “The Middle,” by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey won Song of the Year and Dance Song of the Year. Marshmello also had two songs nominated for Dance Song of the Year.

Marshmello won Best New Pop Artist and Best Dance Artist.
