Diplo is not just an EDM DJ/producer anymore, he is now a country artist. He has taken over the electronic and pop charts and will be continuing to take over the country charts in 2020.
He performed at Stagecoach Music Festival this year for the festival’s after-hours crowd. Everyone, including fans, thought this performance was just a publicity stunt, but now a year later, he will perform once again at the festival. This time he will have a larger catalog of country-leaning music.
Goldvoice’s Stagecoach is a three-day festival held at the Empire Polo Fields; the same place where Coachella is held. The 2020 lineup includes huge country stars like Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, and Thomas Rhett. Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus are also locked into performing for next year’s festival. So you can expect the three to reunite on stage to perform “Old Time Road.”
