LA based DJ, Ryan De La Garza, the producer and DJ originally from Texas, just released his new single “Up & Down”. Formerly known as RDLG, the producer changed his name to DELAGA after signing to ADM talent. The 23 year old producer graduated from Arizona State University receiving a Bachelors in Business Communication and Entertainment Media. The DJ stated he knew he wanted to be a DJ “at the end of high school watching videos of fatboy slim playing, thinking, if that guy is up there killing it why couldn’t I?”
Delaga says he’ Took inspiration from some old synthesizer samples I found and wanted to work with. Messed with them for a couple weeks before I found something I really liked and the song came together pretty quick after that. Wanted something that stuck to my house roots but with an exciting spin. Played it in the club after working on it for a while and it went off, that’s when I knew I had to finish it’.
