2020 Grammy-Nominated Dance Artist

It’s that time of year again, where award season is right around the corner but we’re seeing everyone who has been nominated or snubbed. So, first up we have the Grammy Awards.  The Recording Academy has released its 62nd annual list of nominees. The Grammys cover so many different genres of music and have a wide-ranging roster of artists. But, luckily for us, we get to electronic music in the ceremony with awards like Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Record of The Year categories.

In the Best Dance Recording, we see some great acts nominated. RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Underwater,” The Chemical Brothers’ “Got To Keep On,” Skrillex, Ty Dolla $sign, and Boys Noize’s “Midnight Hour, Meduza’s “Piece Of Your Heart,” ad Bonobo’s “Linked” are up for that award.

We see albums like Apparat’s LP5, The Chemical Brothers’ No Geography, RÜFÜS DU SOL’s SOLACE, Tycho’s Weather, and Flume’s Hi, This Is Flume all up for The Best Dance/Electronic Album category.

In the Record of The Year category, we only see Disclosure representing the EDM community with their hit collaboration with Khalid, “Talk.” In the same category we see Bon Iver’s “Hey, Ma,” Billie Eilis’s “Bad Guy,” Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings,” “Hard Place” by H.E.R., Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts,” Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower, and “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.

The 62nd Grammy Awards show will be broadcasted on January 26th and will be live from Los Angeles. You can see the complete list of 202 Grammy Award nominees here.
